Description and Aim
eGovernment
refers to the use of information and
communication technologies (ICTs)
to
provide public goods and services to
citizens. eGovernment involves
simplifying and conducting processes
relating to information,
communications and transactions
within and between governmental
institutions, the public at large,
and companies, by utilizing
information and communication
technologies (ICTs).
eGovernance
is generally considered as a wider
concept than eGovernment, since it
can bring about a change in the way
how citizens relate to governments
and to each other. The objective
eGovernance is to engage, enable and
empower the citizen. eParticipation,
eVoting, eTransparency,
eAccountability are some of the
dimensions eGovernance.
Who Should Attend
International Conference on
eGovernment & eGovernance (ICEGEG) aims to provide a platform to
leaders, bureaucrats, technocrats,
researchers, practitioners and
academics
across the globe to present and
discuss on their research findings,
experiences, strategies, policies,
technologies, case studies and best
practices in the field of
eGovernment and eGovernance.
The conference provides an
opportunity for all stakeholders to
come together to gain an
understanding of real-world
eGovernment and eGovernance issues
and to discuss ways to put research
